My first day here i visited The Guilt Trip in Redmond - they have a huge rainbow flag outside, colored lights in patio. But then i haven't seen any other gay places in the east side so far. Where do I go, without having to drive to seattle? Ughh, what makes something a 'gay' anything? Seems weird. If someone's white should they get excited when they see a white pride flag flying above a place??
If Eastside residents are accepting of gay people, maybe there isn't a need to have separate restaurants for them? Originally Posted by AnneJL. Originally Posted by brandon.

In light of Orlando, maybe we should have more. After hearing all the news reports about how important a gay establishment is gay the gay community, I wish we had bellevue in the Eastside. I would welcome more of a gay presence here. I'd like my kids to see that our community is an accepting one and that people have a right to love who they want.
I truly wish you well and hope that you find places where you will feel comfortable at I could be wrong, but I bar don't think people in the Seattle area care if people are gay, straight or whatever. I'm pretty sure that this might change, but if you're living in or traveling through some of the more rural areas of this State I to wish I could find a place where a half Black, half German male, who looks Hispanic, with a Jewish last name, but Catholic, and who is married to an Asian woman could feel totally comfortable at Without that feeling like I or my family, might be judged in some odd way.
But until that happens, I'm more than good with going everywhere. I've been going to as an adult since Heck, I would be in serious trouble if "I" was looking for a place to eat or to do business at that displayed an Afro American and German flags Along with the Roman Catholic church's flag!!
